Privacy notice

How we handle your data when you join the waitlist.

Last updated 14 September 2026. Applies to adsonomy.com and the waitlist form.

This notice explains what personal data we collect when you join the Adsonomy waitlist, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who processes it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We have kept it short and in plain English. If anything is unclear, write to us.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Controller: Adsonomy, operated by Dutch Bohemian Ventures, the Netherlands.

Contact: hello@adsonomy.com

We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the scale of this processing does not require one. All privacy questions and requests go to the address above.

2. Why we collect your data

We use the data you give us for one purpose: to run the waitlist and to communicate with you about the launch of Adsonomy. In practice that means:

We do not send a newsletter, we do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising to you on other platforms.

3. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give that consent by ticking the box on the waitlist form and confirming your email address.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or by writing to hello@adsonomy.com. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew.

4. What data we collect

Only the email address is strictly required. The other fields help us onboard you well, but you can leave the optional ones empty. We do not collect any special categories of personal data, and the waitlist is not intended for people under 18.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist data until launch communication ends or until you withdraw your consent, whichever comes first. In any case we delete it no later than 24 months after you signed up. If you become a customer, the data moves to your customer account and is covered by the customer privacy notice and agreement you receive at that time.

If you sign up but never confirm your email address, we delete your data within 30 days.

6. Who processes your data on our behalf

We use a small number of service providers (processors) that act only on our instructions:

Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement. We do not share your data with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.

Your data is stored in the European Union. If a processor ever transfers data outside the EU or EEA, we make sure the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another safeguard recognised under the GDPR.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@adsonomy.com. We answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm that the request comes from the email address on the list.

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or to the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live. We would appreciate the chance to resolve the issue first.

8. Cookies

adsonomy.com does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The site sets only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, such as a session cookie that protects the waitlist form against forged submissions. These do not require your consent and are deleted when you close your browser. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; that request transfers your IP address to Google to deliver the font files and is not used by us to identify you.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on servers in Amsterdam with access limited to the people who need it to run the waitlist. IP addresses are hashed before storage. We review access periodically and remove data when it is no longer needed.

10. Changes to this notice

If we change how we process waitlist data, we update this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we tell you by email before it takes effect.

11. Contact

Write to the controller named in section 1 at hello@adsonomy.com.
